Florida Golf Vacations – Palm Beach Gardens Golf Course Nov 04

While most of the country has already started pulling out the heavy sweaters, South Florida is warm, bright and perfect for a gratifying game on the green. On your next South Florida vacation to the Hilton Singer Island Oceanfront Resort, bring along your clubs for a round or two at Palm Beach Gardens Golf Course.

Golf Course

This scenic par-72 in the upscale destination of Palm Beach Gardens was designed by local course maestro Roy Case, who owns and designs for Case Golf Company right here in West Palm Beach. His work has garnered awards and prestigious rankings all up and down the east coast, but we must say this is one of his best.

Palm Beach Gardens Golf Course offers the affordability of a municipal course (which it is), but the quality and organic spirit of a private resort. For over 6,500 yards, the course winds its way through natural preserved Florida wetlands, one of only a select few Florida golf courses to do so. Marshlands, palm trees and beautiful southern pines nestle the fairways for a fresh, tranquil atmosphere.

The course is challenging, but not so as to ward off casual and novice players. Well-defined elevation changes and smooth lines prove favorable to every level of golfer, and the price is certainly right for brining along sons and daughters wanting to get into the game. Four sets of tees help, too.

The Palm Beach Gardens Golf Course is open daily. Rates vary from $31-$44 depending on time of day and your residence status. Practice facilities, driving range and club house on-site. Learn more.

Stay at the Hilton Singer Island Hotel on your next Florida golf vacation. From golf packages to delightful dining, your enjoyment is our only priority.

Florida Golf Vacations – The Links at Madison Green Mar 11

With countless courses, unrivaled scenery, and sensational year-round weather, the golfing in South Florida and the Palm Beaches is a thing of legend. From time to time we’ll feature one of our favorite Palm Beach golf courses here on the blog, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to start.

The Links at Madison Green
2001 Crestwood Boulevard North
Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 (Map it)

Golf courses near Palm Beach, Florida run the gamut from traditional links-style to novice courses to championship and everything in between, but The Links at Madison Green is the perfect place to start for one reason: it’s a golfer’s golf course. Designed by architect John Sanford without the slightest concern for the beginning player, the course at Madison Green ranges from tricky to devilishly challenging over an impressive 7,051 yards from the championship tees.

Their Web site claims that even novice players can enjoy the game at Madison Green, and that may be true. The taxing slope of the fairways and delicate use of hazards provides an engaging learning experience, and the rich views dotted with towering palms, crystal pools and blue skies are sure to sooth even the most frustrated player. Just try not to lose yourself in a daydream.

You can learn a little bit more about The Links at Madison Green on their Web site, but I’m afraid it doesn’t do the course justice. What management has managed to make look quite plain is in fact an exemplary experience in person. At the moment, rates are available by phone call only. Consider signing up for their email newsletter a few weeks before your trip and you may be able to save with the included coupons.

That’s all for now. Stay tuned for more top-quality Palm Beach golf courses in the future.
