From October 15 – 18, 2009 Daytona Beach will welcome back its award winning festival, Biketoberfest. Thousands of bikes will be rumbling as they roll into Daytona, and some of the finest will cruise the Daytona International Speedway.

The weekend will be booming with plenty of fun and food for all ages. Men and women who still like their toys big and loud will be in veritable “hog” heaven. Motorcycle “hogs”, not the curly tailed kind in case you needed clarification.

Top manufacturers will be offering demonstrations on some of their newest machines, shows and rallies will showcase both vintage and custom-made bikes and more action to come on the track itself.

In addition to all the “exhaust”ing excitement, live music will be served up as standard fare with endless amounts of food ripe for the feasting.

Different venues mean different activities, so plan on making it a weekend adventure. Or, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, an extended weekend.

In addition to motorcycle shows, there’ll be a muscle car feature, a Gibson guitar give-away, a Hooters Bikini Contest and appearances from some big names. Drop in to see Charlie Daniels, or Vince Neil of Motley Crue.
